The city of Sandy Springs does not provide garbage collection services for residents. Residents must contract with private collection services for garbage pick up.
Sandy Springs contracts with
Fulton County Animal Services, Atlanta, GA 30318, 404-794-0358. Fulton County Animal Services is managed by Southern Hope Humane Society, a nonprofit humane society dedicated to promoting and protecting the health, safety and welfare of homeless dogs and cats, helping pets stay in loving homes and educating the public about preventing pet overpopulation and homelessness. The Public Works department arranges for the pickup of dead animals (except birds). Contact the Sandy Springs Call Center at 770-730-5600

To reach the police department to report a non-emergency, call 770-551-6900 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. During off-hours, call the Fulton County Police Department non-emergency number at 404-730-7911.
